Made with diced pork shoulder, slow cooked for hours until tender with tamarind and typical spices used in Burmese cooking; Onions, garlic, paprika, turmeric, tamarind
Chicken & Potato Homestyle Curry
A wonderful chicken and potato curry cooked until all super tender. A little bit or cardamom and lemongrass and lots of coriander. A Burmese family favourite
Fish / King Prawn Curry
Fish /Prawns cooked in a delicious sauce of tomatoes, lemongrass, fish paste, fish sauce, onions, garlic, ginger, green chillies, lots of coriander, paprika and turmeric. Quintessential Burmese flavours!
Lamb & Peas Curry
Minced Lamb, Peas, cardamom, cinnamon, spices. A familiar dish with delicate spicing. A little heat but not too much.
Mince Beef & Potato Curry
A typical homestyle curry. Mince steak beef, potatoes, tomatoes, fish sauce, delicate spicing. Warm, rich and comforting.
Chickpea Masala Curry
A Burmese take on a familiar dish. Chickpeas with potatoes. A little spicy.
Chicken curry noodle soup
A Burmese favourite! Coconut & chicken soup; a hint of lemon grass and cinnamon, thickened with chickpea flour giving a nutty rounded taste. Served with wheat or rice noodles and topped with a boiled egg, fried shallots, fresh coriander, crispy chickpea noodles, and a squeeze of fresh lime and chilies to taste. A taste sensation!
Vegan Coconut Noodle soup
A warming fragrant soup made with coconut milk, a blend of delicate spices, lemon grass, cardamom and thickened with chickpea flour. Served with wheat or rice noodles and topped with fried shallots, fresh coriander, crispy chickpea noodles, and a squeeze of fresh lime and chilies to taste. A taste sensation! Vegetarians can add an egg!
Burmese Fried Chicken
Chicken pieces marinated in turmeric, salt and fish sauce, fried on the bone to retain moistness. A chilli dipping sauce perfect accompaniment.
Fresh Lime soda
A zingy refreshing drink made with freshly squeezed limes, homemade sugar syrup, topped up with fizzy mineral water. That’s it! No additives added….
Burmese style tea
A strong tea, freshly brewed with loose leaf Assam tea leaves, sweetened with condensed milk to taste.
Burmese style coffee
A freshly brewed coffee using the best robusta, arabica or peaberry Vietnamese coffee beans and sweetened with condensed milk to taste.
You’ll also find a selection of seasonal fresh homemade pickles and homemade addictive chilli sauces (fiery but sweet and tart!)
Chicken coconut noodle soup
Noodles served in a light broth flavoured with a gentle hint of lemongrass, cinnamon and a touch of coconut. Finished off with a topping of fresh and roasted chillies, coriander, a slice of boiled egg, fresh sliced shallots, a split pea fritter and a squeeze of fresh lime. A taste sensation of flavours and textures in every mouthful!
Tamarind Pork Curry
Made with outdoor reared diced pork shoulder, slow cooked for 3 hrs with tamarind, ginger, garlic, sweet shallots, and a hint of spices; meltingly sweet, sour and a hint of heat, finished with fresh and roasted chilli flakes and fresh coriander to your taste. Served with rice and homemade seasonal pickles.
